Our History
Haymanote Abew Betewahido was founded with a vision to bring Ethiopian Orthodox Christians together, share our faith, and celebrate our culture. Since its establishment, the church has become a beacon of spiritual guidance, offering services, sacraments, and community support to members of the Ethiopian diaspora and all those drawn to the Orthodox Christian faith.
Our Beliefs
As part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, our beliefs are grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures, the practices of early Christianity, and the traditions passed down through the ages. We observe the Seven Sacraments, uphold the Apostolic faith, and participate in the sacred liturgies, prayers, and fasting practices that define Orthodox Christian life.
